At Nefra LLC, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains our data practices for our AI applications, research platforms, and news subscriptions. As a California-based company, we comply with the CCPA and CPRA.
Notice: Current Cookie-Free Status
Nefra does not currently use non-essential cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral tracking. We do not display a consent banner because we do not collect data that requires one under current California law.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect information you provide directly to us (e.g., account registration or email subscriptions) and technical data necessary for AI session continuity, such as:
- Identifiers: Name, email address, and IP address.
- AI Interaction Data: Text or queries provided to our models for processing.
- Essential Session Data: We use browser “Local Storage” to maintain your AI chat history during your visit. This is not used for cross-site tracking.
2. AI Research & Automated Decision-Making
In compliance with 2026 California regulations on Automated Decision-Making Technology (ADMT):
- Nefra uses AI to process research data and personalize news content.
- We do not use AI to make “significant decisions” that have legal or similarly significant effects on consumers (e.g., lending or employment) without explicit disclosure and opt-out paths.
3. California Privacy Rights (CPRA)
California residents have the right to Know, Delete, Correct, and Limit the use of their personal information. Since we do not “sell” or “share” your personal information with third-party advertisers, a “Do Not Sell” link is not required at this time.
4. Future Monetization
If Nefra introduces third-party advertising or analytics that require cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide a clear consent mechanism (banner) before any such tracking begins.
